These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClayCourse (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website, courses, workshops, and digital materials (collectively, the “Services”).

Good to know

You can highlight key clauses for your own reference. Highlights are client-side only and saved on this device. They do not alter the legal meaning of these Terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with the learning environment we aim to provide.

  • You will not attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the Services, including through automated scraping, malicious code, or abusive traffic.
  • You will not impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or engage in harassment, hate, or discriminatory conduct within any community features.
  • You will not upload or share content you do not have the rights to, or that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
  • You will not use the Services to provide competing training materials in a way that violates the license restrictions described below.

If we reasonably believe your conduct violates these Terms or harms other learners, we may suspend or terminate access without notice, where permitted by law.

3. Accounts, Access & Security

Some parts of the Services may require an account or a purchase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to secure your account.

Access to digital course materials may be provided instantly after payment confirmation. For live workshops, access details may be delivered by email and/or within your account dashboard.

4. Payments, Pricing & Taxes

Prices are listed in the checkout flow or on the relevant course page. By purchasing, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the payment method you provide for the total amount, including applicable taxes or fees.

We may offer promotional pricing, bundles, or limited-time discounts. Promotions may be modified or ended at any time, unless prohibited by law.

If a payment fails or is reversed (including via chargeback), we may suspend access until the issue is resolved. You agree not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to attempt to resolve the matter.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Refund and rescheduling eligibility depends on the type of purchase:

Digital courses

If the course includes instant access to digital materials, refunds may be limited once access has been granted, to the extent permitted by law. If you experience technical issues preventing access, contact us and we will work to resolve them.

Live workshops

You may request to reschedule or cancel a live workshop. If a cancellation is eligible, refunds (if any) may be reduced by non-refundable processing fees charged by payment providers.

If we cancel a live workshop due to instructor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a reschedule option or a refund for the workshop fee, subject to applicable law.

To request a cancellation, reschedule, or refund inquiry, contact us using the information in Section 9.

6. Content, License & Intellectual Property

The Services and all related content—videos, lesson plans, worksheets, photos, text, designs, and branding—are owned by ClayCourse or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

  • You may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly display course materials except as explicitly allowed in writing.
  • You may not remove watermarks, attributions, or copyright notices.
  • You may not record live sessions unless we explicitly allow it in writing for that specific session.

Any unauthorized use may result in termination of access and may expose you to legal liability.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Clay craft may involve tools, heat, dust, and materials that can cause injury if used improperly. You are responsible for following safety guidance, using appropriate protective equipment, and exercising caution.

Educational outcomes vary by individual. We do not guarantee that you will achieve a specific result by using the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClayCourse and its affiliates, instructors, partners, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

In no event will our total liability for all claims relating to the Services exceed the amount you paid to us for the applicable purchase giving rise to the claim, during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
